Our journey from Nepal to your plate began in 2005. That was the year we, Khagendra & Deva Dhungel, moved our three sons - Sanjeev, Sanjay & Sanjog - from Dharan, Nepal to the Bay Area to start a new chapter.
After two decades, we continue to proudly run our truly family-owned and operated restaurant. On any given day, you will find us, alongside our talented sons, extended family, and friends, cooking, greeting, serving, and treating every guest to a flawless dining and drink experience.
To us, You are never just a customer — You are a guest in our home.
Come join us for Lunch, Happy Hour, or Dinner and experience the genuine warmth of Dhungel family hospitality.
Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We stumbled upon Everest kitchen while were were looking for some Indian food after a hike. I was hoping for the regular Indian/Nepalese restaurant experience but my opinion started to shift as soon as I entered the restaurant. Everest is not a run of the mill Indian restaurant. It's very classy and elegant. The decor, the music and the whole vibe. All the servers were very polite and welcoming. We ordered Pani puri, nimki chat, veggie koftas and naans. The good was very delicious. I remember taking a bit out of the naan and it took me back to the dhabas in India. Veggie koftas were super delicious too. Staff was gracious enough to give us complimentary daal. The simplicity of that daal made it so homely and flavorful.Posted on Sachet DubeTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Staff is great and the interior looks incredible after the remodel, especially the new full bar. Great spot for a dinner with family or an easy week night away from cooking. My wife and I love the momo’s but I most enjoy their old fashion with a refreshing seasoning to pair with the cuisine. On draft beer selection is exceptionally bombPosted on Elliott PerryTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The food is phenomenal here! We went for lunch and had a special (huge portion) and the chicken momo's. The momo's were large, filling, and damn delicious. The only downfall was that the service was slow. It was also very cold inside the restaurant. A very filling lunch was under $40, a steal in this day and age. Overall, an excellent place I can't wait to go back to.Posted on J WTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
